I.
Sometimes you have to be an a**shole.
Sorry, it’s just the unfortunate truth.
There are not so nice people in this world.
Trust me, they exist.
When you encounter them, sometimes you need to puff your chest.
But it’s ok, it’s just nature at its finest.
If you don’t learn how, you’ll get walked over.
Your food will get taken.
Your pride will get snatched.
In order to protect yourself and your family, learn how to be an asshole when needed.
It’s a skill everyone must learn.
II.
Unblurring a statement is the process of gaining clarity.
Example:
Friend: “I want to be a more influential person.”
Without knowing what influential means to them, you don’t have enough context to respond.
You need to unblur the statement.
You: “What does it mean to be influential to you?”
It’s important to constantly recognize that your mind doesn’t work the same way that everyone else’s does.
Make sure to unblur early and often.
III.
And with that, I’m going to leave you with a quote,
“Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” — Winston Churchill
